Adi Kailash Trek Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Haldwani to Dharchula (Approx. 330 km / 10–11 hrs)

Early morning departure from Haldwani. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Kumaon Himalayas via Almora, Didihat, and Jauljibi. The route follows the beautiful Kali River valley, offering breathtaking views of mountains, forests, and traditional Himalayan villages.

Arrive at Dharchula, a remote Himalayan town located near the Indo-Nepal border. Check in to your hotel/guesthouse and relax after the long drive. Spend the evening at leisure exploring the local market or enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Day 2: Dharchula to Nabi Village (Approx. 100 Km / 6–7 Hrs)

After breakfast and permit formalities, begin your journey towards Nabi Village, one of the last inhabited villages near the Indo-Tibetan border. The drive passes through the spectacular Vyas Valley, featuring rugged mountains, waterfalls, deep gorges, and pristine Himalayan landscapes.

Upon arrival in Nabi Village, check in to your homestay or guesthouse. Spend the evening interacting with locals and experiencing the unique culture and traditions of this remote Himalayan settlement.

Day 3: Visit Adi Kailash & Return to Nabi (Approx. 40 Km Round Trip)

After breakfast, drive towards the Adi Kailash base area near Jolingkong. Witness the sacred Adi Kailash (Chhota Kailash), revered as the earthly counterpart of Mount Kailash and one of the most important pilgrimage sites dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Visit the holy Parvati Sarovar, located at the foot of Adi Kailash. Spend time in spiritual reflection, meditation, photography, or simply admiring the breathtaking Himalayan scenery.

After darshan and sightseeing, return to Nabi Village by evening.

Day 4: Nabi to Om Parvat & Return to Dharchula (Approx. 120 Km / 7–8 Hrs)

Early morning drive towards the viewpoint of Om Parvat, situated near the Indo-Tibet border. Witness the miraculous natural formation of the sacred “Om” symbol on the snow-clad mountain face, making it one of the most revered spiritual landmarks in the Himalayas.

Spend time enjoying the spectacular views and spiritual ambiance of the region. After darshan, begin your return journey through the scenic mountain valleys back to Dharchula.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax for the evening.

Day 5: Dharchula to Haldwani (Approx. 330 Km / 10–11 Hrs)

Travel through beautiful hill towns, including Almora and Didihat, soaking in the rich culture and natural beauty of the region. Enjoy the final glimpses of the Himalayas before reaching Haldwani by late evening.
